AASHVIKA'S POV:
His honey-brown orbs were staring right into my black ones making it hard for me to breath. His eyes were deep like an ocean, pulling me deeper into them and i'm not even exaggerating, his beauty was truly ethereal.
The way his hair fell onto his forehead, the way his eyes held a mystery to them. It was ethereal. It was too good to be true.
Slowly forcing myself to come out of his magic, i exhaled a sharp breath, forcing myself to look at the small child eho was standing infront of me. As i gazed at her, i immediately looked around her to check for any injuries.
"Are you okay?" I asked her, as worry flashed over me, the girl looked at me and passed me a small smile.
"I'm fine, thank you both of you." She said making me look down.
"He was still beside me." The mere thought of him being so close to me sent a shiver down my spine.
"Seriously aashvika, you need to get a grip." I thought and looked back at the girl as i flashed her a small smile.
"Take care, little one."
And there it came again.
That same raspy voice like honey.
It worked like drugs on me.
He stood up making me feel the absence of his hands over my hands and walked back to his family.
The reporter's & cameraman again focused on taking their photos while the man who accidentally pushed the little girl came towards us.
"I'm sorry, i didn't see you." The reporter apologised. I looked at the girl and flashed her a smile. That's when a couple running towards us.
"Alia, come here." The woman yelled a little, the girl happily went back to the woman. I stood up and looked at the woman and the man standing beside her.
"I'm really sorry, I'm her mom." The woman apologised.
"It's fine..but can you show me something to prove that you are her mom?" I asked. The woman nodded and showed me the photos of the little girl with her. I nodded and then handed the girl over to her.
The woman once again apologised to me.
"No, it's fine, i get it, it was really crowded but you should take care of her, she might've gotten injured." I spoke and the woman apologised once again and went away.
I walked back to rushika who was staring at me with a smirk visible on her face.
"What?" I asked, to which her smirk deepened and she spoke, "So, how was it?" she asked making me more confused.
I frowned as i asked her once again, "How was what?"
"Woh romantic moment uss hottie ke saath!" She spoke with excitement, making me widen my eyes.
I immediately slapped her lightly making her wince in pain. "Shut up! Stop talking nonsense, let's go now! We have work to do!" I yelled and dragged her with me.
As i dragged rushika with myself, i didn't forget to take a look at the whole family who were standing and taking pictures together.
"They all look so happy together, i wish i had a family like that too..ever since dad left for his posting, our family feels incomplete." I thought but realising that i was getting emotional, i shook my thoughts, drifting away my thoughts as i focused on the work that was waiting for me.
AUTHOR'S POV:
As aashvika dragged rushika with her towards the entrance, many more celebrities and influencers soon reached the inauguration ceremony.
The malhotra family walked infront, ready to inaugurate the mall by cutting the ribbon. Rushika passed rachita the scissors. Rachita called vivaan towards her to cut the ribbon.
As they cut the ribbon, aashvika noticed that divya was staring at her. Divya slowly walked towards her and whispered, "Meet me later." And walked back to her family.
Though, aashvika was confused as to why divya wanted to meet her but she still nodded.
As everyone walked inside the mall, they all had various expressions on their faces- Some were stunned, some impressed and some left speechless.
Even vivaan was impressed, though he still hid it.
As they walked further, they saw a huge stage in the centre of the mall. They looked around the whole mall and that there were various photo booths set up.
The celebrities and influencers climbed the stage and started performing one by one. While some customers were enjoying their performances, some were checking out the stores.
The malhotra family were enjoying the performances, while atharv and vivaan were busy talking to their buisness partner and clients.
Here, aashvika was just focused on her as she didn't want anything to go wrong on such a big day. Seeing aashvika not enjoying the event, rushika dragged her with herself saying, "Come let's take some selfies!"
Aashvika smiled at her as they went to the photobooth and clicked many photos together.
After sometime, rushika went to one of the burger stores as she was really hungry while aashvika stayed back. Aashvika's gaze fell on the malhotra family. Feeling herself being free, she walked towards divya.
She patted divya's shoulders lightly making her turn around. Divya looked at her and her lips curved into a soft smile.
"How are you beta?" Divya asked making aashvika smile. "I'm fine, how are you?" Aashvika asked.
"More than fine after seeing your work, you did a brilliant job." Divya complimented aashvika. "Also, you're looking stunning." Aashvika's eyes lit up hearing her words.
"Thank you so much, I'm really grateful that you liked my work." Aashvika spoke with a soft smile.
"Come, i will introduce you to my family." Divya spoke, catching aashvika off-guard but nonetheless she nodded with a small smile still lingering on her face.
Divya walked towards a man and intertwined her hands with his. "This is my husband, shaurya, and my mother-in-law, rachita." She introduced rachita and shaurya.
"Namaste." Aashvika greeted them respectfully, making them smile. The both complimented aashvika, making her smile. Divya then introduced aashvika to ishita and ahaan who also complimented aashvika for how she handled everything. She then introduced aashvika to atharv and anukriti.
"You look stunning sweetheart." Anukriti compliment aashvika. "And you look drop-dead gorgeous." Aashvika complimented her back.
"We have met before, Ms. Singhania." Atharv spoke, making aashvika smile and nod. Divya then called sahil towards them.
"Who is this hot lady, mom?" Sahil spoke, making aashvika widen her eyes.
"Stop flirting with her!" Divya scolded him and lightly slapped him on his shoulder making him chuckle. Turning towards aashvika, she spoke, "He's just joking beta, don't worry." She reassured aashvika.
"I'm sahil, i heard that you are the person who planned this event." Sahil spoke making aashvika nod lightly. "You did a great job beta." Sahil spoke like an elder man, making aashvika chuckle.
"Come sweetheart, now I'll make you meet my second son." Divya spoke with excitement and held aashvika's wrist, literally dragging aashvika with herself.
Aashvika looked in vivaan's direction and her eyes widened once again.
"Ek second..Kya!?" Aashvika accidentally yelled out loud catching divya's attention. "What happened?" Divya asked making aashvika look back at her, nervously. "N-nothing." Aashvika spoke, a lump forming in her throat.
Leaving aashvika's wrist, divya walked towards vivaan who was talking to some buisness men. Saying something to them, she dragged vivaan with herself.
She walked towards aashvika, who was standing there dumbfounded until now.
As vivaan's faze fell on aashvika, her heart skipped a beat. Unknown to her emotions, aashvika couldn't help but feel nervous. As she stood, looking down while fiddling with her fingers.
"Vivaan, meet aashvika, Aashvika, meet Vivaan." Divya introduced them. As aashvika looked at vivaan, she saw him already staring at her.
"Oh shit. Those eyes. I'm dead. I'm dead." Aashvika thought while trying to control her racing heart.
As vivaan gazed at aashvika, his face held a stoic expression, not giving much of his emotions.
"Nice to meet you, aashvika." Her name rolled down his tongue like honey. Aashvika immediately looked down, not being able to handle vivaan's intense gaze.
"Nice to me..et you too." She spoke nervously making vivaan's corner of lips twitch for a millisecond before he hid it.
"You did a great job." He complimented her, making her lose her breath. She was more than happy to know that vivaan was impressed by her work. Though, still not being able to overcome her nervousness, she spoke shortly, "Tha..nk you."
Vivaan looked over at his mom and spoke, "Can i go now? They are all waiting for me."
Divya looked at him and spoke, "Alright, Alright."
Vivaan passed her a small smiled. Kissing her temple, he silently stole a glance of aashvika and walked away. His lips forming into a faint smirk before it got replaced by his stoic expression.
As vivaan walked away, divya looked at aashvika who was still looking down. She softly smiled and spoke, "Don't mind him, he is just like that. His grandmother is a very disciplined person and living with her since his childhood, has affected him this way." She reassured aashvika, making her look up. She softly hummed, making divya smile.
"You should go now, your friend might be waiting for you." Divya spoke making aashvika nod and leave from there. Divya walked back to her family and started enjoying the performances.

Aashvika walked inside the burger store. She walked towards the table where rushika was seated and sat down infront of her.
"You're still here?" Aashvika asked, making rushika look at her. Her mouth was stuffed with food, making her look like a munchkin.
"Kyun? Nahi ho sakti kya? Rushika asked, her voice muffled. While, aashvika just rolled her eyes at her and chuckled.
("Why? Can't i be here?")
"Stop rolling your eyes at me and order something, I'm still hungry." Rushika yelled making aashvika look at her with shock visible all over her face.
"Tu sach mein mahaan hai bhai." Aashvika said making rushika laugh. Aashvika's eyes wandered around the area to find the waiter, when her eyes landed on a man standing at the counter table.
"Is that sahil?" Aashvika spoke making rushika look towards the man. The moment her eyes landed on him, she chocked on her food. Rushika immediately left the burger and wiped her mouth. Aashvika looked at her while being stunned and smirked.
"Getting pretty for your crush, hmm?" Aashvika asked, teasing rushika. Rushika didn't pay any attention to her and just looked away. Aashvika looked back at sahil, and saw him staring at her. "Aashvika, hi!" Sahil yelled and started walking towards them.
Rushika's eyes widened at his voice and she immediately looked at him. "Hi, sahil!" Aashvika yelled back, making rushika stare at her now.
Oh, she was gonna have a heart failure very soon.
"Tu usse jaanti hai??" Rushika whisper yelled with widened eyes. "Aur woh yahaan kyun aa raha hai?" She again yelled, making aashvika look at her.
"Shut up, he is here!" Aashvika yelled and looked towards sahil who was already standing beside them. Rushika immediately sat straight and fixed her hair.
"What are you doing here?" Aashvika asked sahil, making him sigh. "Well i was hungry, so i came here to eat but there are no seats available." Sahil spoke with a disappointed tone. "Well, you can sit here." Aashvika spoke, inviting him to sit with them.
Rushika's eyes were almost going to pop out of their sockets as she stared at aashvika, being flabbergasted. "Kutti kamini!" She muttered under her breath while aashvika just ignored her. Sahil looked at aashvika nervous and asked, "Are you sure?" Aashvika smiled and nodded her head, reassuring him.
Sahil gave her a warm smile and sat down beside rushika, making her breath stop. Aashvika glanced at rushika and looked away, trying to hide her laugh.
"So, you are aashvika's friend?" Sahil asked rushika, making her heart skip a beat. She slowly and nervously looked at sahil and spoke. "Yeah."
Seeing rushika's face, aashvika couldn't hold her laughter anymore and she bursted out laughing, making the both of them look at her.
"Why are you laughing?" Sahil asked making aashvika laugh harder. After some minutes, she controlled herself and spoke, "N...nothing."
She cleared her throat and spoke, "Well rushika, i met sahil some minutes ago." She said making rushika stare at her with a betrayal look to which she just shrugged it off.
"I am sahil, vivaan's younger brother." Sahil introduced himself to rushika. "Well, who is vivaan?" Rushika asked making sahil chuckle.
"You don't know vivaan?" Sahil asked making rushika shake her head as a no.
"He is the owner of this mall." Sahil spoke, making rushika widen her eyes.
"Oh! Woah hot aur greek god wala banda-" Rushika spoke making aashvika widen her eyes. Rushika immediately covered her mouth as she realised what she just spit out of her mouth. Meanwhile, sahil who was stunned until now chuckled breaking the awkward silence.
"Yeah, that hot and greek god wala banda is my brother." Sahil spoke with an amused look.
"Hehe.. sorry.." Rushika spoke in a small tone, making sahil smile. "No, no, it's fine, i get it. He is indeed hot." Sahil said with a soft smile.
"You should order something, sahil." Aashvika spoke making sahil nod, as he went to order food for himself.
After finishing his food, sahil stood up and bid aashvika and rushika goodbye saying that he needs to go, as his family might be waiting for him.
As sahil left, rushika glared at aashvika, making her gulp.
"Saali dayan! Tu mujhe ghar par mil tab tujhe batati hoon main!" Rushika warned aashvika, who looked away, trying to hide her nervousness.
[Saali dayan! Meet me at home, then i will tell you!]
Soon enough, the ceremony ended, almost everyone had left except the malhotra family and rushika and aashvika. Bidding the malhotra family goodbye, aashvika and rushika also left and went back to their homes.
As divya looked at aashvika's retreating figure, "She's a very sweet child." Rachita spoke making divya smile and nod her head in agreement.
"So, what do you think?" Rachita whispered, making divya look at her with a frown visible on her face. "What do you mean, mom?" Divya asked her.
"I meant..vivaan ke liye vo kaisi rahegi?"
